Exceptional views and exceptional dining

During my recent four-night stay, I was thoroughly impressed by the stunning ocean views that made every moment feel special. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a fantastic array of options including freshly made pastries and an impressive selection of organic juices — truly something to savor at a leisurely pace. Dinner was another standout experience, as the onsite restaurant serves a delicious Mexican-Mediterranean fusion menu that doesn't disappoint. My only downside was the uphill walk from the beach house to the dining area, which could be a bit challenging at times.

The gym’s limited size and lack of air conditioning were disappointing!!! Room 25 needs a reassessment—it’s cramped under the roof!!! I also noticed slow replenishment of buffet items, something that really should be improved!!!

The pools were super relaxing, and we loved the outdoor gym, even if it was a bit small. Breakfast was a total highlight—so many options to choose from! The only thing was the uphill walk back to the room. it can be quite a trek after a long day.

we recently returned for another stay in canyamel and can simoneta truly exceeded our expectations. the views were breathtaking, especially from the pool area, and the breakfast featured an amazing selection of fresh pastries and local delicacies. the adults-only atmosphere allowed for a perfect escape and relaxation during our budget stay.

the gym was very small and hot.

This place exceeded all my expectations. the breakfast was out of this world, and I was amazed by the perfectly curated local wine selection provided during dinner. the actual room was slightly smaller than what the photos suggested. I'd definitely choose it again!

The breakfast was simply epic—choices galore that elevated our mornings! Add to that the stellar dining at the on-site Mexican restaurant. that mango guacamole made my taste buds dance! Plus, the two pools with stunning ocean views? Absolute bliss!

Now, on the flip side, the mattresses were a tad too firm for my liking.

Room 25 needs improvements. it's cramped under the roof, making it uncomfortable for taller guests. The mattresses are on the firm side, which might not suit everyone's sleep style. the gym's tiny size becomes an issue, especially during hot summers without air conditioning, and the sauna was out of service for a luxury experience.
